But as much as I like what I see on the Bears, I like what I see on the Packers and Vikings football jerseys even more. Both of those teams are more established and aren't counting on as many "ifs."
What should concern the Bears most is their division. The NFC North looks like the strongest in the NFC, and one of the strongest in football along with the AFC East and AFC North.
When you look at almost every team on paper, however, you will find some potential holes.
So these Bears should be fine with X's and 0's. They still could use a few more Jimmys and Joes though. There are some questions, especially on the offensive line and in the defensive backfield. They need some young players to come on.
Mike Tice, also a former head coach, has a history of making offensive linemen better — he has helped five of them get to 10 Pro Bowls jerseys. New tight ends coach Mike DeBord is a 28-year coaching veteran who once was named assistant coach of the year at Michigan. Darryl Drake, who is well respected for his teaching skills, has coached wide receivers for 24 years. And Jon Hoke has been developing defensive backs or coordinating defenses for 27 seasons with a passionate style.
Martz is a Super Bowl winning game-planner and play-caller and is a proven developer of talent. Dave Toub clearly is in the upper echelon of special teams coaches. Rod Marinelli has not been a defensive coordinator, but the former head coach is widely regarded as one of the best defensive line coaches in the league.
What should prevent that, at least in theory, is this staff of assistants. It's easily the best coach Lovie Smith has had, and one of the best in team history.
Of course, "unrealized potential" could be the subtitle for the Bears highlight film from many of their 89 seasons. And it could be for this team too.
As for Hester, it's not a stretch to think he could have a 1,200 yard season in his third year as a full-time wide receiver. As a receiver, Hester jerseys is like a 14-year old who is about to hit his big growth spurt. Playing in an offense that appears to fit him well and should offer him more opportunities than ever, Hester can hit heights.
Peppers easily is the most gifted pass rusher this franchise has had since Richard Dent. But his history says he may be an inconsistent player who is dominant only in spurts. Even if he's dominant only some of the time, he should help this team a lot.
Cutler, of course, has to click with new offensive coordinator Mike Martz after trying to retrain his brain all offseason. He needs to become a more consistent player, a less emotional player and a smarter player than he was a year ago. It sure would help if he became a more mature leader. But anyone who can't find hope when watching him is a complete pessimist.
Cutler, Peppers and maybe even Hester have the abilities to take over games in ways their predecessors in 2006 did not. Whether or not they will is another issue.
The reason is this team has two potential difference-makers in Jay Cutler and Julius Peppers jerseys who weren't around in 2006, and another, Devin Hester, who is in a different role.
In hindsight, the 2006 NFC champion Bears were better on paper than this team is today. But this team has the potential to be better than that team.

The 2010 solution: Use play-action for a seamless transition to the 21st century
Sanchez had 13 regular-season pass plays of 20 yards or more in play-action, and two of them went to receiver Jerricho Cotchery(notes) in a Week 2 victory against the New England Patriots. After going 3-of-5 for 15 yards in the first half (minus-2 if you include a 17-yard loss on a sack), Sanchez opened up and hit Cotchery for passes of 45 and 22 yards in the third quarter. The 45-yarder came on the first play of the second half, and set things in motion for the offense. The fake did what it was supposed to do, forcing Patriots middle linebacker Gary Guyton(notes) to hesitate for a split second, and though Guyton was dropping into coverage, that split second was all that Sanchez needed.
On the play, the Jets football jerseys had first-and-10 at their own 44-yard line. Cotchery (89) was lined up wide right, and the Jets had an offset-I formation with a six-man line. This was another aspect to New York's successful use of play fakes – they'd frequently use run-action, firing their linemen out in run-blocking looks to add to the deception, and they did so on this play. The fake to halfback Thomas Jones(notes) behind the line of scrimmage gave Guyton pause, and Cotchery the free release at the second level to haul the ball in at the New England 38. That's about where safety Brandon Meriwether (31) and cornerback Jonathan Wilhite(notes) (24) crashed into each other as they converged on Cotchery, letting the receiver slip through and continue the play until Guyton finally brought him down at the 11. After a 2-yard Thomas Jones run, Sanchez used play-action again to find tight end Dustin Keller(notes) for a 9-yard touchdown.
The Jets' aerial attacks won't ever be mistaken for the Colts or Saints football jerseys. That's not what they're good at, and it's not what they want to do. The 2010 Jets want to marry their smashmouth approach to a passing game a bit better than "just good enough," and putting Mark Sanchez in different play-action scenarios is key to making that happen.

Preview Of Bengals in 2010 NFL
If you're in a deep 12-team league, take a late-round flier on backup running back Bernard Scott. The 301 carries took a toll on Benson, and running backs coach Jim Anderson has already indicated that Scott will be in the mix. "He will play a bigger role in what we do," Anderson said. Recall his 119-yard game against Oakland in Week 11 last year. There's more where that came from if anything happens with Benson.
I mentioned earlier that Ochocinco is being picked after Felix Jones and Crabtree, and I think that's a mistake. The upgrades Cincy have made on offense benefit Ochocinco as well. We should see a bump in yards and receptions.
Palmer currently has an ADP of 112.47 and he's being picked after Donovan McNabb jersey. I'd much rather have Palmer, who has potentially his best supporting cast in his entire career. Anything less than 25 TDs would be a big letdown. If you miss out on seventh-round favorites like Kevin Kolb and Matt Ryan, wait a bit and scoop up a combo of Palmer and Joe Flacco
Benson was by far the highlight of Cincinnati's fantasy output last year, as he finally broke out for 1,251 yards rushing and six touchdowns over 13 games. The 27-year-old rusher is scheduled to meet with commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday to discuss his recent assault charge (Class-A misdemeanor), but indications are that Benson won't be suspended. He's fallen to the third round in recent mock drafts, a mighty fine value spot if this whole thing turns out to be overblown. Don't forget how beastly that O-line is.
The Skinny
The Bengals boast one of the elite cornerback tandems in the league in Johnathan Joseph and Leon Hall. They combined for 141 tackles and 12 interceptions last season. Defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer has turned this unit into one of the league's best at play-making, a boon for fantasy owners. Antwan Odom racked up eight sacks in six games before a torn Achilles' tendon cut his season short. He's on target to be a full participant in training camp, and remains someone to consider in IDP leagues. Reliable linebacker Dhani Jones should have no trouble posting 75 solo tackles and a few sacks again. Overall, even though this D/ST may be drafted outside of the Top 15, there will certainly be weeks of Top-10 productivity.
The D/ST
K - Dave Rayner/Mike Nugent
TE1 - Jermaine Gresham
WR5 - Jerome Simpson
WR4 - Jordan Shipley/Andre Caldwell
WR3 - Andre Caldwell/Jordan Shipley
WR2 - Antonio Bryant
WR1 - Chad Ochocinco
RB3 - Brian Leonard
RB2 - Bernard Scott
RB1 - Cedric Benson
QB2 - J.T. O'Sullivan
QB1 - Carson Palmer
The Depth Chart
Antonio Bryant. I don't like casting off anyone in this offense considering the upside, but Bryant's perceived value is more than his actual value. I'm sure some owners will have thoughts of his huge 2008 season when he collected 83 receptions, 1,248 yards and seven TDs. But that was when he was the main attraction with no competition for targets. There are a lot of mouths to feed on Cincy, including the biggest mouth of all, "Esteban" Ochocinco. Bryant is a good bounce-back candidate since he struggled in recovery from meniscus surgery last year in addition to Tampa Bay's poor quarterback options. However, I'd feel safer taking him as a WR4 and hoping for 800-900 yards and five TDs.
The Bust
Jermaine Gresham. Cincinnati's first-round pick gives new Palmer jersey a weapon he's sorely needed -- a big, reliable target who can bolster red-zone efficiency. An injury cost Gresham his entire 2009 season at Oklahoma, but his 2008 was something to behold (66 catches, 950 yards, 14 TDs). Expect Gresham to get involved early and rack up over 35 catches in his rookie season. Even though he won't be worth starting in shallow leagues, there will be a bunch of weeks where he could at least serve as a bye-week fill-in. With other offensive threats teams will have to respect -- Benson, Ochocinco and new receivers Antonio Bryant and speedy Jordan Shipley -- Gresham might be a sneaky bet for a handful of TDs.
The Breakout
With the stigma, though, comes fantasy bargains. No one on this team has an average draft position better than 18, and Ochocinco is being picked in the fourth round after less-proven players like Felix Jones and Michael Crabtree.
Three new Bengals jerseys players were arrested this offseason, including running back Cedric Benson being charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching a bar employee in the face. For all their fantasy potential, the Bengals also scare owners away on draft day because of the perception that they are full of turmoil and/or disappointment. In 2009, it was more the latter. Chad Ochocinco had a bounce-back campaign, but barely cracked the 1,000-yard mark. Carson Palmer was serviceable as a QB2, but mixed in a bunch of dud performances. Benson was the lone star who over-delivered on expectations.
FanHouse is knocking out your fantasy football 2010 team previews one day at a time. With the new season on the horizon, we're covering all 32 potential champions.

PreTraining-Camp Rumors
Reggie Wayne has hinted that he may hold out until his contract gets addressed. Wayne has been a part of the Colts offense for quite some time. How serious is he and will this affect the Colts offense very much?
2、Chargers losing their charge?
The Chargers jerseysare currently in contract disputes with stars Vincent Jackson and Marcus McNeill. Both players seem like they are willing to stage long holdouts. Will this affect the Chargers dominance of the AFC West?
I don't imagine their absence will help, but Phillip Rivers is a star and he'll keep the Chargers above water.
Rumors are going around that Bob Sanders jerseymay not be able to play football again. Now these rumors have been disputed, but do the Colts need to worry about their injury prone superstar?
When healthy Sanders is a top safety in the NFL, but when is he really healthy?
4、Is Codeine an issue in the NFL?
5、Will Logan Mankins get Richard Seymoured?
The Patriots jerseysare not shy to let go of veteran players that have helped them win titles. Logan Mankins could be on his way out of New England, but if his teammates had a say he would remain with the team.
If the Patriots traded Seymour last year before the season, you'd have to wonder if they'd do the same with Mankins.
6、Will Ed Reed jersey be Ed Reed in 2010?
One of the greatest playmakers the NFL has ever seen could be on his way down. The status of his injuries should be a concern for Ravens fans. Will they see the playmaker they are used to seeing in 2010? Will the Ravens defense have enough gas in the tank to help out their stronger than ever offense?

Why AFC West teams load up?the Chargers?
The chase is on.
"I believe this group has a chance to be the best team I have coached as a head coach, and certainly coached here. This is a talented group of guys with unbelievable work ethic. I tell them I believe we'll be bigger, we'll be stronger, we'll be faster."
And so the new Chargers jerseys have no plans to go quietly into the night. As he sent his team off into the rest of summer, Turner summed up his team this way:
Upon carrying the ball a few times in the Chargers' first full-team practices of the offseason, Mathews summed up the difference between college and pros as "faster pace, bigger dudes."
The Chargers turned the page on one of the franchise's greatest players with Tomlinson's release. Mathews, who rushed for 1,808 yards at Fresno State last season, has a great combination of size and speed. He ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at 218 pounds at the scouting combine.
"I'm excited," Campbell said. "We can be more explosive."
Campbell has the arm strength to appease Raiders football jerseys owner Al Davis' continued desire to push the ball downfield. But he has more accuracy than most Raiders QBs in recent seasons, having completed at least 60 percent of his passes in each of the three years he started at least 13 games.
In Oakland, Campbell, who threw 20 touchdowns for the struggling Redskins jerseyslast season, is next in the line of quarterbacks who have been given the task of shaking the team out of its extended funk. He replaces No. 1 pick and draft bust JaMarcus Russell.Jones is a player respected enough in New York that the Jets took out an ad in the Kansas City Star when he signed with the Chiefs that read: "A person who embodies toughness, dedication and leadership. Thanks TJ for three great seasons." The ad was signed by team owner Woody Johnson, general manager Mike Tannenbaum, coach Rex Ryan and "the New York Jets."
Jones gives the Chiefs a proven veteran in the locker room, to go with other free-agent signees such as center Casey Wiegmann and Ryan Lilja, and a proven option in the backfield.
Jones, the third-leading rusher in the league last season, set a Jets football jersey franchise record for rushing touchdowns with 14 and the team's single-game rushing record with 210 yards against the Bills in Week 6.

What’s the latest on Ed Reed’s health?”
Reed said recently he hopes he has at least one more season in him, that he's back to 35% of his mobility and that it may take several more months of rehab before he gets back on the field.
But he'll be on the field. At some point.
The Ravens certainly need him. With Super Bowl jerseysaspirations and high-impact new additions across the roster, the defensive backfield seems to be the team's lone position of concern. Corners Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington are returning from 2009 injuries, while safety Haruki Nakamura is rehabilitating as well. There's a lot of love for third-year safety Tom Zbikowski, but he hasn't proven a reliable starter. The rest of the defensive backfield? It's a never-ending list of average to slightly above-average veterans.
It's a serviceable crew if Reed's on the field leading the troops. If he's not? The defensive backfield could end up being Baltimore's Achilles' heel.

Which unit will adapt to the 3-4 the fastest?
Buffalo's defensive front obviously will have one less down lineman, in most cases, than they've had in the past. It immediately shifts more gap responsibility to the three men on the line of scrimmage. The nose tackle is often covering two gaps the most, but both defensive ends will be responsible for handling two gaps as well a fair amount of the time as they grind at the line with opposing offensive linemen.
For Stroud, a 10-year veteran, it's a whole new ball game.
"I've been running a 4-3 all my life and we have a lot of different calls," he said. "It's almost like being a rookie again. We're re-learning all the terminology and all the play calls. It's a work in progress, but I really believe that once we get everything down we'll definitely have a chance. And I think we'll be better than what people are giving us credit for."
The line has its share of veterans in Stroud, Dwan Edwards, who has 3-4 experience, Spencer Johnson and Kyle Williams. The rest of the group however, is largely unproven. With the degree of rotation that most NFL jerseys defensive lines employ in games to keep players fresh, there figures to be a bit of a learning curve. And that's not only for the younger reserves, but the veterans that are adjusting to the new scheme and its responsibilities.
Linebackers
Perhaps no other position group on the defensive side of the ball will experience more change in responsibility than the linebacking corps.
"There's no other way to say it than the differences between the 4-3 and the 3-4 are night and day," said Paul Posluszny jersey. "Just the way we fit up the run, coverages that we'll run. It's completely new compared to what and how we did things the last several years. I would say in all aspects of the game run and pass it's completely different. You have different guys dropping into coverage, different guys have different responsibilities, you have more linebackers on the field. The whole thing is just a new feel."
No one is feeling newer than Buffalo's defensive ends that have been converted to outside linebacker like Chris Ellis and Chris Kelsay. Aaron Maybin is also making the switch, but at 250 pounds he doesn't have quite as much weight to move around in space as his teammates.
"It's a big difference from last year," said Ellis. "We have so many different looks and that's just the base package. So when we get to a point where we can switch things up within the package of plays we already have and give some different looks, it's really going to challenge us as much as opposing offenses. It's a lot to take in, but it gives your defense and our position so many more options because we're asked to cover, stand up, be down, rush. It gives you everything."
Ellis and Kelsay both admit that the toughest transition is the coverage aspect, as they'll be counted on to cover tight ends and backs at times. Both improved as the spring wore on, and they're hopeful their progress continues once they're carrying their pads around as well.
Like the defensive line the linebacking corps has some experienced vets like Andra Davis, Keith Ellison, Kawika Mitchell and Posluszny jersey. But there is a myriad of changes they must master between now and the regular season.

Fantasy Football of 2010
While the injuries forced him to miss time, Stafford also had some hardships, in his rookie season he threw for 2,267 yards, 13 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
If he can remain healthy he has more weapons around him this year with Jahvid Best, Nate Burelson, Tony Scheffler and a healthy Calvin Johnson.
He's on a team that will rely on him to lead them to wins, and playoff runs. Take a chance on him, especially in keeper leagues.
2、Ah, Peyton's little brother. The numbers? They weren't so little. He truly plays like a Giant but doesn't get taken in the high rounds of drafts.
Eli Manning has always been successful while playing in New York, last season he threw for 4,021 yards and 27 touchdowns. The downside was his 14 interceptions but with the amount of times Eli threw the ball, interceptions were bound to happen.
He's got a nice one-two punch in receivers Steve Smith and Hakeem Knicks who had surprising but productive seasons last year.
With New York's running game on the fence Eli can be viewed as a sleeper and a steal3、 Matty Ryan's sophomore season was nothing but cold after an excellent rookie year where he was a good NFL quarterback, led the Falcons to the playoffs, and made a nice option in fantasy leagues.
Ryan's sophomore campaign? Not so great. He was a headache for most owners, and his turf toe injury caused him to miss two games, but he really wasn't the same once he sustained that injury.
Despite a shaky second season, Ryan football jersey was able to throw for 2,916 yards and 22 touchdowns. He only threw 14 interceptions even while injured.
If Michael Turner, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez can all stay healthy and become a force to reckon with, "Matty Ice" will be nice fantasy quarterback once again.
4、Unlike JaMarcus Russell who also came out of college praised for his cannon of an arm, Joe Flacco is one of the best NFL quarterbacks and becoming one of the best fantasy guys too.
He has the best shot at becoming a household name to fantasy owners this year. Flacco is coming off a season in which he threw for 3,613 yards and 21 touchdowns.
This offseason the new Ravens jerseyswent out and acquired wide receiver Anquan Boldin from the Arizona Cardinals. He'll come in and be Flacco's go-to guy right away. So if your looking for a guy who can put up great numbers, his name is Joe Flacco.
5、 He's a Michigan Wolverine so he must be smart. Well, so is Bill Parcells, who went out and got this guy a big name to throw to. That big name is none other than Brandon Marshall.
After Chad Pennington threw his arm out again, "the other Chad" stepped in and delivered. Henne threw for 2,878 yards but only 12 touchdowns.
Those yards and touchdowns should go up with Marshall in town.
Henne is more of a sleeper but could end up at this spot or even higher.
6、Ten would have been too low if the Chargers had handled contracts correctly. The loss of new LaDainian Tomlinson jersey was supposed to mean more throwing and more receptions but with Vincent Jackson's holdout and suspension who are those receptions going to go to?
Antonio Gates is still there, but the Chargers drafted Ryan Mathews at No. 12 overall in this year's draft to replace Tomlinson. For the expectations on Mathews, check out my fantasy rankings for running backs.
So the question remains who will Rivers throw to?
Darren Sproles, Gates, Matthews, and Malcolm Floyd are the guys he'll look to until V-Jax gets back, but when Jackson returns will they still mesh together?
Rivers' value takes a small hit but he'll still make the top 10.

The relationship between Chad Pennington and Miami Dolphins
"In this league, if you train one and you think he can win you need to hold onto him, or hold out for a very good price," Henning said. "We think right now we have four guys with the capabilities to someday — in Pat White and Tyler Thigpen's case — win in the NFL jerseys. We know what we have in Chad [Henne] from last year, and we know what new Chad Pennington jerseys can do."
Pennington said when he re-signed with the Dolphins in March, agreeing to a one-year deal that will pay him $2.5 million, he mentally prepared himself for anything from being the opening-game starter to getting released, which could be the case considering this regime hasn't carried four quarterbacks since taking over in 2007.
The coaches don't feel Pennington needs much work because of his experience level. The Dolphins football jerseysview Pennington as an in-case-of-emergency quarterback — one who could instantly become a starter if something happened to Henne and Pennington's throwing arm had fully recovered.
Tyler Thigpen and Pat White are battling it out to serve as Chad Henne's backup.
If Pennington is placed on the PUP list he won't be able to play until Week 7. But that move could allow the Dolphins to carry four quarterbacks until then.
If Pennington begins the season on the PUP list he wouldn't count against the 53-man roster. But he wouldn't be able to practice with the team or play in any of the four exhibition games. However, he could still monitor practices while continuing his rehab.
"I think Chad is a little bit more intelligent than I am, and capable of handing some of the things that I do. And he gets paid more," Henning joked. "We ought to get a little bit more out of him than I've been hearing."
Most inside the organization believe Pennington is destined to become a coach when he's done playing.
When he wasn't doing that, Pennington, who has started 80 of the 89 regular-season games he's played in, was mentoring the young quarterbacks.
Pennington football jerseys, who is nine months into rehabbing his third surgical procedure to his throwing shoulder, could usually be found standing next to coach Tony Sparano and offensive coordinator Dan Henning as they called the offense's plays.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington sparingly participated in the team's minicamp and OTA practices this offseason, which raises the probability that the 10-year veteran might begin this season on the physically-unable-to-perform list.

Jared Allen gives us a big surprise
And that player over the past six seasons, the NFL's Most Valuable Non-Quarterback Player, is new Jared Allen jerseys, the high-motor defensive end currently plying his trade with the Minnesota Favrkings, a team that was so much more than just its over-exposed quarterback last year.
So it's this obsession with offense and with quarterbacks that spawned the introduction of our new MV non-QB P.
In the NFL, they should just rename it the Peyton Manning football jerseys Memorial Award since the voters now hand him MVP honors each year merely as a mindless reflex, even on seasons when he clearly did not deserve it, as was the case in both 2008 and 2009.
After all, America's pigskin "pundits" are obsessed with offensive players and with quarterbacks in particular. Just look at the long list of NFL MVPs or college ball's Heisman Trophy winners. Both awards are almost exclusively reserved for offensive players.
"The mullet was trimmed for the wedding but the Moolay is more than just some hair, its a lifestyle! You gotta keep a positive Mullitude..."
However, new Allen football jerseys hinted on this Twitter page Wednesday that "The Mullet" might reappear at some point.
"The mullet isn't just a hairdo. It's definitely a lifestyle. You're carrying on a legacy," he said "If I approach you from the front, it's like, wow, that dude is pretty serious. Then I walk away and you're like, damn, he likes to party. With two Rs."
In a 2009 interview, Allen explained his love and respect for his mullet.
Allen, who often says his mullet is a "lifestyle," has capitalized on the popularity of his hairdo, selling "Mullet Militia" T-shirts and including a "mullet generator" on his iPhone app, where users can try out the "lifestyle" for themselves.
"The things men do for love," Allen told Vikings.com.
The Minnesota Vikings football jerseys' star defensive end, known as much for his hairstyle as well as his ability to get to the opposing team's quarterback, lost his mullet as he gets ready for his upcoming wedding.
The pride of Idaho State (no offense to Merril Hoge) continues to reign at the defensive end position thanks to a rare combination of speed and strength. Allen has proven uniquely consistent donning Minnesota purple with 14.5 sacks in each of his past two seasons while averaging a healthy 52 tackles per. With the "Williams Wall" intact for at least one more campaign we can confidently expect yet another elite season from the leader of the "Mullet Militia."。
